Meet Brian and Christine

Christine LoRusso Parman Reno Las Vegas

Christine Parman (formerly Christine LoRusso) began her financial services career in 2005 with an internship at the New York Life office in Reno, NV, while completing her bachelor's degree in accounting at the University of Nevada, Reno. With a long-held desire to run her own business, and having seen her uncle and grandfather have successful insurance and financial businesses, she quickly realized this career was the perfect fit, allowing her to become a trusted financial professional and friend to her clients and truly help people reach their goals.

Christine has quickly become a leader in the industry, having qualified for New York Life's Executive council in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2013-2016 and the elite President's council in 2011 and 2012. She has also qualified as a member of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table, The Premier Association of Financial Professionals, in 2009-2012 and 2014.  She is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.  She holds her Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow designation and has been published in USA Today.

Christine has gained notoriety for giving presentations at many medical, dental, and nursing schools as well as area fire academies and medical groups throughout Nevada and California including: University of Nevada School of Medicine, Orvis School of Nursing in Reno, University of Nevada Las Vegas, School of Dental Medicine, University of California, Davis School of Medicine, University of California, San Diego, School of Medicine, Azusa Pacific School of Nursing, Dugoni School of Orthodontics at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, Truckee Meadows Community College, Fire Academy, Renown Medical Group, Kaiser Permanente, and the State of Nevada.

Christine is passionate about financial education and serves as a board member for "Women's Money" a non-profit that provides financial education and mentoring to women across the nation. She is an active member of Life Baptist church including singing in the worship band. She also enjoyes traveling, hiking in the beautiful Nevada outdoors and spending time with friends and family.

Brian Parman joined Parman Insurance & Financial Services and New York Life in 2014.  Brian has a long held interest in managing his own finances.  Personal Finance was more than just a hobby for Brian; using books, magazines, and software, he spent considerable time researching how to best accomplish short and long term goals, as well as plan for retirement.  Even before beginning his professional career, he was often asked questions relating to finances by friends and coworkers being known as someone who had those answers and would take the time to help.  Becoming an agent with New York Life was a very natural next step to join his wife, Christine in her established career.

Having completed an 18 year career with Hilton hotels working in IT implementation, Brian understands what makes long term relationships work. After spending most of his hospitality career traveling to other cities and countries, Brian resigned with Hilton to spend more time with his family and turn his hobby and interest in finances into a new career. Brian quickly passed his Life and Health Insurance exams, obtained licensing, and went through a detailed interview process and rigorous background check to be appointed with New York Life. He has also passed his series 7 and series 66 exams and is now a Financial Advisor with Eagle Strategies LLC. In addition he has qualified for New York Life's Executive Council in 2015 and 2016.

Brian grew up in Brownstown, IN before graduating from Indiana University, Bloomington with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.  Living in the Las Vegas area for over 15 years, he enjoys spending time with friends and family and is an active member of Life Baptist Church.  Brian and Christine travel to Indiana and Reno, NV several times a year, not only to visit with family, but to maintain relationships and meet with clientele.
